Devin B. Zatorski joined Thorn Run Partners in 2013 and brings considerable experience in federal health policy to his work with the firm’s healthcare clients.
Most recently, Mr. Zatorski served as Senior Policy Manager at the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) in Washington, D.C., where he was BCBSA’s lead policy analyst for healthcare quality, clinical health information technology, and payment/delivery system reforms.
In this capacity, he worked with the 38 independent Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans – collectively covering 100 million Americans – to develop consensus positions on health reform implementation issues and to foster alignment between public and private sector care delivery innovations, such as patient-centered medical homes and accountable care organizations.
Before joining BCBSA, Mr. Zatorski was Senior Research Analyst and Editor at the Advisory Board Company, a best practices research firm serving 3,000 U.S. hospitals. There, he wrote the monthly Horizon Scan research publication covering strategic planning and clinical technologies for providers and edited the firm’s Daily Briefing newsletter for healthcare executives.
Devin is a Professional in the Academy for Healthcare Management and holds a B.A. in English and Political Science from Middlebury College in Vermont.
