Graham Gunter joined Thorn Run Partners in July of 2021, bringing advocacy and health policy experience from the private sector to the firm’s first-in-class public policy practice. At Thorn Run, he works primarily to support the firm’s health policy practice by tracking legislation, regulations, and other policy developments to help some of America’s leading stakeholders navigate this dynamic and ever-changing industry.
Prior to joining Thorn Run, Mr. Gunter served as an Advocacy and Strategic Alliance Intern for the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), a trade group representing US companies in the pharmaceutical industry in DC. He also worked as a Federal Relations Intern for the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), the world’s largest biotech trade association, headquartered in DC. Before that, Mr. Gunter served as a Government Relations Intern for Randolph Cloud and Associates, a lobbying firm in Raleigh, NC.
Mr. Gunter is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Economics, holding a minor in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. He currently resides in the Navy Yard neighborhood of Washington, DC, just steps from the U.S. Capitol.
