TRP is Hiring: Health Care Legislative Assistant

Thorn Run Partners, one of the top lobbying firms in Washington D.C., is seeking a Legislative Assistant with an interest in politics and federal health care policy to aid our executive-level advocacy team on a variety of writing, research, and administrative projects. The Legislative Assistant will spearhead a variety of legislative and regulatory projects, such as facilitating advocacy campaigns, summarizing congressional hearings, analyzing federal regulations, writing newsletters, tracking health policy issues, and more. A strong pedigree in writing or legislative analysis is imperative.

Individuals in this role will be expected to prepare client-ready deliverables for some of Washington’s most influential stakeholders. Thorn Run is looking for a self-starter who is prepared to adapt to a fast-paced environment and consistently perform everyday responsibilities at an elite level. One to three years of experience handling federal policy issues is recommended, although exemplary entry-level candidates (especially those who have held relevant internships) would also be considered. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
