Coalitions
One of the major developments in the evolution of government relations in recent years has been the rise of coalitions as mechanisms of effective advocacy. Sometimes built around one issue, other times based upon the broader interests of an entire industry, coalitions of stakeholders can be far more effective at driving policy outcomes than individual entities.
