Brittany Argote joined Thorn Run Partners as a Senior Health Policy Associate in July of 2021, bringing with her significant experience in, and a deep understanding of, the legislative process. Her work has spanned local, state, and federal governments, giving her a unique view of the policy lifecycle. At Thorn Run, Brittany tracks and provides analysis for federal health policy through both the legislative and regulatory processes, leads health care policy and research projects for clients, and contributes to advocacy campaigns on a variety of health care issues for some of Washington’s most influential stakeholders.

Prior to joining Thorn Run, Brittany served as a legislative analyst for the Florida Senate, where she routinely analyzed complex policy issues and authored detailed legislative analyses, developed targeted legislative proposals, and drafted legislation and amendments for members of the Florida Legislature. Previously, Brittany served as a legislative committee assistant for the Florida Senate, where she conducted writing and research projects to help better inform policy decisions. As an undergraduate, Brittany served as a legal intern for the U.S. Department of Justice where she monitored the policy landscape for issues pertaining to civil and disability rights.

Brittany is a two-time graduate of Florida State University, where she received a Master of Science in Public Health Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in English.
