Thorn Run Partners (TRP) (www.thornrun.com) announced today the elevation of Michelle Fried Galvanek to Partner in their Washington, DC office. Most recently, Michelle served as Principal Policy Counsel at the firm.
Michelle has extensive experience as a health care policy and government/regulatory affairs professional who has a proven track record of devising and advancing strategies to achieve public policy goals. She has 30 years of experience in various public and private sectors of health care. Prior to joining Thorn Run Partners in 2016, Michelle spent 25 years working in senior roles for some of the top pharmaceutical companies and healthcare trade associations in Washington, DC, including those representing health insurers, pharmacy benefit managers, hospitals and physicians.
Even though she is the firm’s 16th partner, Michelle Fried Galvanek has the distinction of becoming the first person promoted to partner from within Thorn Run’s Washington, DC office. (Three years ago, Elizabeth Remley was elevated to partner in the firm’s Portland, Oregon office.)

Michelle received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Emory University and a law degree from Georgetown University.
