When TRP was approached by a small company that was growing increasingly concerned with the rising political influence of adverse parties to its niche sector, we quickly developed a coalition of like-minded stakeholders to provide a Washington presence for their industry.
Within one year, the Continuing Medical Education (CME) Coalition had become a highly effective healthcare policy player, hosting Capitol Hill briefings, establishing itself as the preeminent industry thought leader, and launching a sophisticated public affairs and stakeholder engagement campaign.
And when CMS drafted a Proposed Rule that threatened to inadvertently decimate the industry, we executed a rapid, coordinated and highly strategic effort.
In the end, and in response to the outpouring of interest, CMS created a vital exemption for accredited CME in its Final Rule. Touchdown.
