Carl Chidlow has decades of experience at the intersection of politics and policy. Prior to joining Thorn Run Partners, he worked at smaller lobbying firms handling transportation, appropriations, environmental and national security matters for clients, municipalities, and national trade associations.

Carl also brings extensive experience in national politics having served in senior roles at the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and on the Presidential campaign for U.S. Senator John Kerry. For several election cycles, Carl supported Senate campaigns in Georgia, South Dakota, Washington State and Missouri.

Carl is a graduate of Syracuse University with a BA in American Studies. He served in the New York and Maryland Army National Guard to serve his country and help pay for his undergraduate degree. He lives with his wife and two children in Alexandria, VA.
