Missy is a big-picture problem solver with a keen eye for detail. A seasoned operations professional with management experience that spans multiple brands and industries, she joined Thorn Run Partners in March 2025 to support the firm’s day-to-day operations, while strategically streamlining business processes to boost overall efficiency.

Prior to her tenure at Thorn Run, Missy was the Vice President of Operations at Lot Sixteen, a rapidly growing lobbying and communications firm in Washington, D.C. From the firm’s inception, and throughout six and a half successful years, she expertly developed, implemented, and refined operational practices across a variety of areas, including contracts, compliance and risk management, hiring, onboarding and staff development, human resources and benefits, finance, and facilities management. Beyond her experience at Lot Sixteen, her capabilities draw on a number of experiences that give her an edge in operations administration. Her management roles in retail and visual merchandising, contributions as a camera crew member for C-SPAN, operation of her own interior design business, service on various boards of directors, and leadership in multiple fundraising initiatives have uniquely equipped her with the diligence, adaptability, and creativity that are essential for excelling in her current role.

Missy is an alumna of Loyola University New Orleans where she earned a degree in Journalism and Political Science. A proud Washington, D.C. native, she lives in Maryland with her husband and three children.
