Yani joined Thorn Run Partners in 2025. He began as an intern prior to joining Thorn Run full time and before that, worked in legal consulting. Through his experience, he solidified his passion for energy policy and the federal appropriations process. At Thorn Run, Yani works with the firm’s operations and policy practice by providing administrative support, conducting legislative research, analyzing and summarizing congressional hearings and other events, and assisting the team.

Yani is from Atlanta, GA, and graduated from Tufts University with a bachelor’s in philosophy and economics. In his free time, Yani enjoys playing soccer, chess, and watching movies.
